##Why We Chose It:
Sesame Street has always been an integral part of a child's life. One of its most popular muppet characters is Elmo. Who cannot forget its bright red fur and large eyes? Most toddlers know Elmo because of its popular show on Sesame Street – Elmo's World – which is specifically geared toward young kids and toddlers.
To capitalize on Elmo's popularity, Sesame Street distributed Elmo products with toddlers as its target market in mind. I think this is a brilliant idea! Most children know who Elmo is and one cannot deny that children represent a very important demographic due to their own purchasing power aka "pester power".
I even fell to the trap because my daughter insisted to buy the DVD once she saw the commercial. She's crazy about Elmo! Since she kept on tugging my arm every time the commercial was on, I decided to purchase the product online. My baby was captivated the first time I put the disc inside the DVD player. I admit that I even laughed at some lines of Elmo and the other supporting characters. Elmo's Potty Time had songs in it which my daughter found really catchy. I even caught her singing while she was about to go the potty. :)
My daughter immediately grasped the concept of potty training after the first time of watching it. Some parts were pretty informative because my child proudly told us at dinner that she knew the names of the strange fluid coming in and out of her. It also taught her good bathroom habits because she loves flushing the toilet after everytime she goes to the potty. It even became her little obsession to flush the toilet even without her doing the potty..LOL! What I also love about this DVD it sprinkles words of encouragements every now and then. My daughter became more confident and self-assured.
##Cons:
My one little complaint about this product is that me and my daughter didn't get to see Elmo going to the potty himself. My daughter kept on asking me, "where's elmo?" That was a little bit disappointing because the main title of the product is Elmo's Potty Time so we expect to see Elmo do the actual potty himself.

With all else considered, I highly recommend this product as a must-have potty training tool. It provided entertainment to an otherwise tedious and tiring task.
