##Why We Chose It:
My son gets a bit anxious when night sets in because he's scared of the dark. This makes it more difficult for me to potty train him at night so I had to find a way to make the whole process easier for us.
I bought Mobi TykeLight Portable GloMate to alleviate his fear of the dark. I've found the perfect product because it's not too bright to disturb my son's sleep nor is it too dark to upset him. He loves that the night light rotates its colors – from blue, green, yellow, red etc. The overall blending of colors gives off a comforting and soothing ambiance.
It has an automatic timer – it turns itself off after 15 minutes with the blue light, but since my son is a light sleeper, I set it to 2 hours with other light settings. My son was not afraid of waking up in the middle of the night to ask for my help when he needed to go to the potty because it was bright enough for him to see me. Before I bought the night light, the darkness of the room scared him so bad that he wet himself. I'm glad that I bought this night light for kids. My son gets enough sleep and I have less soiled bedsheets to wash! :)
It's very portable, so I could take it along with me when me and my son visit his grandmama. I can put it beside my son's bed without worrying about safety issues because the night light does not give off heat, and it runs on a low voltage. Plus, the battery lasts for a very long time considering the product is quite wallet-friendly.
##Cons:
My main concern is that base charger does not effectively indicate if the night light is charging. Another concern that I have is that the 15-minute timer is only available for the blue light.
