Baby Alive Learns to Potty [Parent's Pick]

baby-alive-learns-to-potty

##Why We Chose It:

I bought this particular doll for my daughter, who set her eyes on Baby Alive Learns to Potty after she saw one of my neighbor's daughter playing with it.

What a perfect timing because my daughter was being resistant to the whole potty training process. After a week of playing with the potty doll, my daughter showed great interest in potty training. She plays "mommy" to her doll by feeding it. The doll keeps my daughter "busy" so it's a great way to keep my child diverted.

PRIMO Folding Potty with Handles White granite [Parent's Pick]

primo-potty

##Why We Chose It:

Out of town trips with my daughter can be pretty stressful because my daughter has to go to the potty every two hours. I don't feel safe when my daughter has to use public toilets because she might catch harmful bacteria or germs. Young children are very susceptible to diseases if they're exposed to contaminated materials i.e. public toilets. Luckily, my sister gave me PRIMO Folding Potty with Handles to ease my worries.

Huggies Pull-Ups Training Pants with Learning Designs, 3T-4T (32-40 lbs), Cars, Mega , 40 training pants [Parent's Pick]

huggies-pull-ups

##Why We Chose It:

Night time potty training is a lot harder than your usual daytime potty training. My son needs "extra" protection because he finds it difficult to control his bladder at night, which leaves a mess in the morning. It's hard for me check up on him hourly at night because I usually hit the sack an hour after my son sleeps. But I don't want to revert to using diapers because it would definitely slow down the potty training process.

Pampers Sensitive Baby Wipes Refills, 192-Count Packages (Pack of 4) (768 wipes)

pampers-baby-wipes

##Why We Chose It:

I'm a big fan of Pampers Baby Wipes Refills. My daughter is prone to skin irritation that's why I have to be very cautious which brand to use. Pampers baby wipes don't use harsh chemicals and totally fragrance-free and alcohol-free. This brand is very gentle to skin, even to a newborn because it uses aloe and milk essentials as its major ingredients. Pampers wipes are very soft (even softer than some washcloths) but with just the right amount of thickness to avoid tearing up.

Gerber Training Pants (6-pairs) [Parent's Pick]

gerber-training-pants

##Why We Chose It:

Potty accidents are inevitable that's why potty training pants are a must-have item in your potty training shopping list. I bought Gerber Training Pants when my son was able to understand the importance of potty training. I don't have to go up in the middle of the night to supervise him to the bathroom. This product absorbs so much better than regular diapers. And my son feels very comfortable wearing it (it's made out of 100% cotton) that he insists on using this instead of the pull-up diapers because he doesn't feel any discomfort whenever there are accidental leaks.

Fisher-Price Fun To Learn Potty [Parent's Pick]

##Why We Chose It:

Do you know how to make potty training more fun for you and your kid? Simple, incorporate interactive tools into the process. I know that you're thinking that it's easier said than done because most moms like me are pretty busy. Well, it shouldn't be if you look for the right potty training materials in which your child would have a blast using it while learning the right potty etiquette. I hope this short review will help you moms out there in choosing which interactive tools to buy for your kids.

In my case, my son loves interactive toys. This is the primary reason why I bought him Fisher Price's Fun To Learn Potty. The transition from a potty training toilet to a real toilet was easier because of this potty chair. The product has some pretty nifty features (which my child absolutely enjoys!) like: it responds to a kid's action through music, sounds effects or phrases. My child is highly entertained while sitting on the potty because of the various sounds and music played whenever he's relieving himself.

Sesame Street – Elmo's Potty Time [Parent's Pick

elmos-potty-time

##Why We Chose It:

Sesame Street has always been an integral part of a child's life. One of its most popular muppet characters is Elmo. Who cannot forget its bright red fur and large eyes? Most toddlers know Elmo because of its popular show on Sesame Street – Elmo's World – which is specifically geared toward young kids and toddlers.

To capitalize on Elmo's popularity, Sesame Street distributed Elmo products with toddlers as its target market in mind. I think this is a brilliant idea! Most children know who Elmo is and one cannot deny that children represent a very important demographic due to their own purchasing power aka "pester power".

Mommy's Helper Cushie Traveler [Parent's Pick]

Potty Seat

##Why We Chose It:

While most plastic potty seats in the market are affordable, only a handful of them are comfortable to use. My son constantly complained of discomfort and consequently, impeded the potty training process because he refused to use the potty training seats I bought for him.

Still, there are some potty seats which are made of sturdier and comfortable materials but I found them too expensive. Potty training my son wouldn't take that long and it's very impractical to buy one that I'm not going to use for a long time.
