Potty Training Dolls
Kids tend to imitate the things they see or hear. As young as 18 months old, they learn to copy the actions of others. Why not use this biological process to your advantage?
You'll need the doll or teddy bear in the training session. You start by using the doll to illustrate a routine that your child will follow. This will make the process easier for your child to understand, plus it makes it more fun.
You don't have to buy a new doll for this, you can use an existing one, or even better, a doll that's your child's favorite.
## >> *Things to Consider*
### Good Design
There are a lot of potty training dolls in the market. In my case, I select the potty training doll which resembles the human anatomy the most because my kid easily learned from a potty doll which did human-like actions. Consider if a potty doll can: drink water, hold water, wet or go potty, and be fed in a sitting position or laying down.
For those who don't want to create a water mess, you could try other stuffed potty training dolls. Keep in mind that there are more potty training dolls for girls than there are for boys.
### A Good Thorough Guide
A good potty training doll comes with a potty training guide which tells you how to use a potty training doll properly. This saves you ample time to figure out how a potty training doll works.
### Affordability
One thing to consider is the affordability of the potty training doll. Potty training dolls with more advanced features are obviously more expensive than potty training dolls with simpler features. However, it does not matter as long as you choose the one that works best for you and your kid.
